Valtra Pulling Team
The Herlevi Family will continue as the drivers of the
Valtra Pulling Team.
Father Pekka, who has won several trophies both in Finnish and European Championships, drives his Sigma Power. The children Johanna and Matti, who already have gained success in the European tracks, will drive their own tractors, Doris and Caesar.
The main goal of the team is to win the Finnish and European Championships as well as the Pro Stock Euro Cup Championship.
One of the historical moments for the Herlevi tractor pulling team was success in the European Championships in Great Britain 1998, where both the father and the daughter won their classes on the same day.
Other days to remember are the European Championship competitions in Denmark 2000, in Sweden 2001 and in Finland 2003, where the Herlevi family gained triple victory for the same tractor make, Valtra.
Also the years 2004 and 2005 were marked by great competition victories. In 2005 Pekka and Matti Herlevi achieved a double victory at the European Championship and Pekka finished the Pro Stock Euro Cup season with an overwhelming point-margin.
"Success is rarely achieved by accident. It is the result of the work well done. The good results from the races also reward the buyers of the Valtra tractors by producing them equipment with features tested in the worlds most demanding test laboratory." Pekka Herlevi.
