Härmä pulling club, organising the event in Alahärmä, was praised for the successful arrangements and a fast-moving competition. In this respect this event was on the national top and will stand comparison with pulling events on the European level.

Roughly 5000 people had gathered to follow the race. Despite of the hot season the track was tight and damp enough. There was no dust at all and the grip was good.

The technical problems that had been bothering Johanna and Doris at the last four events, were left behind in Alahärmä. Johanna did an easy Full Pull already at the first attempt. Since no one joined her to the Pull Off, the competition was settled. For practise and testing she made another, even more impressive pull.

-After a long time I was little bit nervous before our class, maybe that was good after all. But when I got the tractor running, it felt like the good old days, told Johanna later at the pit area, obviously relieved.

To the joy of the spectators and the drivers themselves, other Full Pulls were seen as well. Uuno Järvitalo with his Thunder, Mikko Perä with MP-Lift, Jukka Vähätalo with Ursula and Timo Laine with stock MF were able to make it to the finishing line.

Matti and Pekka Herlevi were testing different kind of turbos in Alahärmä. Both Caesar and Sigma Power made some strange noise when they were pulling. The one hundred meter line was not crossed this time, although they got very close.

When these three pro stock tractors of Valtra Shell Pulling Team are in good shape they generate well over 1300 hp with a torque of 2200 Nm. The speed of the Sisudiesel engine is normally at 5500-6000 rpm.

Next FC pulling competition will be driven in Tyrnävä in two weeks on the 22. July.
