Pro Stock 3,5 ton
Sister and brother in the lead The final round of the Finnish Championships was held in Vaasa on Saturday evening. The winners of all classes were familiar. Joanna borrowed a tractror from her father and beat the other pro stocks. Even Matti, her little brother, was left on the second place. Good weather was probably the reason for a small audience; only approx. 1000 spectators were present. Lacking grip "The surface of the track was crumbly and slippery. Therefore it was impossible to get the grip. We had to be very careful in order to prevent engines from overheating" told the winner of her class, Johanna Herlevi.Johanna’s own tractor Doris was not yet in good trim after the breakage in France the previous weekend. This time Pekka Herlevi was content with following the competition from the side of track. Doris will be examined carefully for the European Championships, which will be the highlight of the year. "Test runs will be done either in Tyrnävä or Oulainen", told Pekka. Tommi Kotilainen and Uuno Järvitalo won their classes easily
